Healthy Living Team awarded Lindy Center student grant

We are excited to post that our Health Design Innovation Student Team: Map the Gap, has received a Lindy Center Grant to drive their community process. This team is examining how better rental and rental provider relationships can drive improved health for those that normally suffer the stress-related effects of housing insecurity through substandard conditions and eviction. This team is comprised of Thanh Nguyen, MS Design Research Student and Samantha Stein an Undergraduate Custom Design Major, and they will be working through the Drexel Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships on this portion of their project. The team emerged from a cross-listed Public Health and Design Research funded spring course: Health and Design Research They worked with community partners to develop an initial instrument which they are now developing as an interface for their audience. This was one of three teams that continued their project over the summer. This project is part of the Health Design Research Innovation Project.

Faculty Advisors: Yvonne Michael, Dornsife School of Public Health; D.S. Nicholas Westphal College of Media Arts and Design
